Arriving in Tana , welcome to the Airport, assistance and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at HOTEL in BB
Transfer to the airport for flight departing to Antsiranana or Diego Suarez at the northern end of the island, the capital of Antakarana tribes. The “Varatraza” wind (“the Force of Nature”) a hot, dry wind that blows especially during the winter, is characteristic of the region. And possibility of City Tours. Transfer to the hotel , overnight in BB.
After breakfast , departure for the excursion to the Amber Mountain National Park, a volcanic massif covered with rainforest, located at 850 to 1475 mt. altitude. It is a unique reserve with 7 species of lemurs, including the famous “Eulemur coronatus”, over 75 species of birds, such as the “crested Ibis” and nearly 25 species of amphibians.
Waterfalls, volcanic crater lakes and others attractions of the reserve. Picnic lunch and return to Diego through Joffre City, former Fady (Tabù) site, transformed by Marshal Joffre into garrison and resort for Diego settlers. Joffre City became almost a ghost town, despite its beautiful colonial houses , now in ruin.
After visit, back to Diego, overnight in BB in hotel.
Morning after breakfast you choose between Morning after breakfast , transfert to Ramena beach where we will take a boat to go to emerald sea and discovery the marvelous lagoon colored like emerald . Possibilty to do bathe, relaxing, snorkeling, kite surfing with abundance seafood. Back to Ramena in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel, overnight in BB
After breakfast, departure for the Ankarana massif through Anivorano; possibility during the dry season to visit the Sacred Lake where Zebus sacrifices to worship the crocodiles are practised. Ankarana, an extraordinary geological discovery:the caves and the cathedrals but especially the famous “Tsingy”, karstic limestone peaks eroded by rain, are worth a visit.An extraordinary natural phenomenon dating back to about 200 million years. The park houses a diversified vegetation and several species of lemurs, birds, reptiles and amphibians. Half board accommodation in ANKARANA LODGE.
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to the Red Tsingy ,about 60 km from Diego. Red Tsingy are specific and very charming. We discover the red Tsingy through crossing savannah and descent on one part of the park of Analamerana near the village of Irodo. We first take à little stop in the point of view of the surrounding and descent slowly to discover gradually all the site. Return to Diego, overnight at the hotel in BB
