Breakfast at the hotel. Then you will leave the capital and head for the South. You will travel along the RN7 Road. You will have a stop at Ambatolampy to visit a workshop of pots and other kitchen utensils made with salvaged aluminium. You will journey through mountain chains, ricefields and typical villages of the high plateaux.
Then you will continue the journey to Antsirabe which you reach at the end of the morning. Antsirabe is a town called “The City of water” because of its thermal springs with therapeutic properties.

After breakfast, you will continue the trip towards Ambositra, situated at 90 kilometres southwards from Antsirabe.
Ambositra is the capital of Malagasy craft industry. Here you will have the opportunity to discover the works of the Zafimaniry, an ethnic group living in that area and whose members are skillful woodcarvers.
You will visit some workshops of sculpture and marquetry. Then you will continue the journey towards Fianarantsoa, the “Town where people learn what is good”.
Arrival in the afternoon , overnight in BB
Breakfast at the hotel. Then you will continue the journey towards Ambalavao. You will visit a workshop of hand-crafted Antemoro paper. Made of the bark of a tree named Avoha, once dried, the paper is decorated with natural flowers to make envelopes, albums, lampshades and other decorative items.
Then you will journey to Ranohira where you will see the National Park of Isalo by crossing the plateau of Horombe. Arrival at the end of the afternoon. Overnight in BB
A day of Isalo devoted to the discovery of the National Park of Isalo. This walk will make you discover the beautiful landscape of this park composed of massif and canyons.
After going through some kilometers, your effort will be rewarded by the view of lemurs, such as the lemur catta, as well as a natural pool surrounded by pandanus. A genuine oasis. An invitation to a swim. Overnight in BB
You will have breakfast at the hotel and then continue the trip towards Tuléar through a desert landscape.
All along the way, you will see the Mahafaly tombs and their decorations. You will get to Tuléar at the end of the morning.
Tuléar is a quiet town, crossed by the tropic of Capricorn. It’s also the starting point for all the excursions onto the other surrounding villages.
You will leave Tuléar and continue the journey to Ifaty, a fishermen’s village by the sea. Overnight in BB
In the morning, you will continue the trip to the north of Tuléar. The way is a track, but the landscape will compensate for all, with its dunes and its lagoons.
After about 3 hours of drive, you will arrive at Salary, which is also a fishermen’s village by a turquoise sea.
The rest of the day is free time. Overngiht in HB
Breakfast. Free day. A possible walk around the area (with nautical activities, deep-sea diving, fishing, etc.) Overnight in HB
You will leave Salary and go to Andavadoaka. All along this route, you will have the opportunity to see one of the most beautiful lagoons of Madagascar with its wild beaches, still preserved from mass tourism.
Arrival in the afternoon and overnight in BB
After taking breakfast at the hotel, you will head for Morombe. The landscape starts changing, you will no longer see the lagoon, but instead, you will see fishermen’s villages and vast plains.
Arrival at the end of the afternoon. Overnight in BB
This route is one of the longest ways of this tour. So we must leave early in the morning to arrive at the next stage which is the village of Manja at the end of the afternoon.
Manja is a small village which is a stop for the travelers on this route. Overnight in BB
After breakfast, you will journey to Belo sur mer, which is also a fishermen’s village by the sea.
You will certainly see the salt marsh and the dhows. The village is even famous for the construction of these traditional dhows. Overnight in BB.
Free time for you to take a rest after these days of trip on tracks. It is possible to visit a dhow workshop and the saltworks. Overnight in BB
You can still spend the morning taking a rest while being at Belo sur Mer before you continue the journey to Morondava which is situated at 80 kilometres from this village. You will reach this town after travelling on the track for 3 hours and half. Overnight in BB
Early in the morning, you will leave Morondava and go down another track which will take you to Bekopaka.
During this journey, you will get on board a ferry when you reach Belo sur Tsiribihina.
You will reach Bekopaka at the end of the afternoon. Overnight in BB
Breakfast at the hotel, then discovery of the Small Tsingy and the gorge of the River of Manambolo.

This day will be devoted to the visit of the Grand Tsingy. The Tsingy are listed among the World Heritage by the UNESCO. The Tsingy are calcareous karst which contain numerous caves and resurgences. Depending on your physical condition, you can opt for either the 2 hours or the 4 hours of walk.

Petit déjeuner à l’hôtel. Route pour Morondava en repassant par Belo sur Tsiribihina, Arrêt sur l’allée des baobabs pour admirer le coucher de soleil.
Breakfast at the hotel. Then you will go to Morondava by journeying again by Belo sur Tsiribihina. You will have a stop at the Baobab Avenue to enjoy the sunset. Overngiht in BB
Transfer to the airport of Morondava. Flight to Antananarivo. Reception on arrival and transfer to your hotel and overnight in BB
